Welcome to our pricing page for muffles. Here, you will find the prices for both single and double types, as well as option to upgrade a single set to a double set. Please be aware that all prices are subject to VAT, which may be reclaimed under Listed Places of Worship Scheme. Please see our 'Measuring' page for details of how to measure your clappers for your muffles.

Listed Places of Worship Grant Scheme

Single muffles

(For half-muffled ringing)

For bells up to 25cwt: £38.60+VAT each for all-metal clappers **
For bells over 25cwt: Price on application
For bells with timber shafts of any size: £61.50+VAT each

Secondary muffles

(For augmenting an existing set of BW single muffles to allow fully-muffled ringing)

For bells up to 25cwt: £33.74+VAT each for all-metal clappers **
For bells over 25cwt: Price on application
For bells with timber shafts of any size: £45.00+VAT each

Double muffles

(Both a single set and a secondary set to allow both half-muffled and fully-muffled ringing)

Prices for a double set are simply the cost of a single and a secondary set added together:

For bells up to 25cwt: £72.34+VAT each for all-metal clappers **
For bells over 25cwt: Price on application
For bells with timber shafts of any size: £106.50+VAT each

Next day carriage on all orders is £9.65 (£11.58 inc VAT).

** = for bells with non-standard shaped clappers, such as pear, mushroom head or any other deviation from the standard design, please enquire. Muffles can usually be made to fit but this will result in an extra charge.
